Frequently Asked Questions
What is the KonMari Method™?
The KonMari Method™is a practice developed by Marie Kondo with the goal of simplification. Starting by gathering all of one's belongings together in a categorized process. We deal with one category at a time. This approach is unique because of this process of working through categories rather than locations. By moving through categories it removes repeating the same items. The categories are clothes, books, papers, miscellaneous items (komono) and sentimental items. The items you keep are completely up to you and to goal is to only keep items that you feel connected to and discard items that no longer speak to you in feeling or necessity. Mindful of your past, present in the moment and looking forward to the future.
How Do We Get There?
Phone Consultation (20 minutes) - Complimentary
We can't wait to talk about it! On the phone we can get a general overview of your timeline, objectives, motivation for getting organized and any questions about the process. We want to know more about you and open the collaborative effort in creating a process for success and fit working together.
